Summer Going-Out Shoes!!

Back in the burbs there isn't much occasion for dressing up and stomping around in heels. However I am still an admirer of the summer shoes that are coming out. One shoe that I noticed that I had never really given much attention to before that I am digging are the slingback heels. I love the simplicity and shape of them. I think what is so great about then is that they are also very simple and classic and can he worn casual or for a night out on the town. Topshop.com has many variations of this classic style. I like how they  are playing with some fun summer colors that really pop, and can add that extra va-voooom to complete and outfit. I also like how they play with a couple of different colors all in one shoe. I have been seeing this more and more over the past couple of years, and life how there are color contrasts in the shoes. I think that while it adds a bit more of a fun side, they are still classy shoes and aren't just for little kids anymore.

Additionally, this summer there are a lot more variations of the clog. Last summer I really noticed them becoming more fashionable. I have to admit I used to think that they were not cute at all, and did not understand how they were still being made. However, I found myself purchasing a pair of heel clogs like shoes, and they soon became one of my favorite shoes in my closet. What Topshop also did was they have small variations of the clog look and then they play with bright colors perfect for the summer, and that one doesn't see everywhere. They also play with interesting materials for instance the clog that is made from reflective material. I am very drawn to that version of the shoe because I haven't seen that done really anywhere else, and I admire the fact that it could potentially look very tacky, but it actually looks very high end fashionesque.

Hermes Bracelets

It has been a while since I have written, but lately I have been admiring the Hermes H bracelets. The bracelet comes in thick and thin. I think that both versions are great for different reasons. The thinner version is great to pair up with other bracelets that are skinnier and if you want to wear more than one, although the bracelet itself could stand alone. The thicker version of the H enamel bracelet is great for a singular piece of jewelry on the wrist. The H enamel bracelets, along with the other great "bangles" by Hermes, are great for any type of occasion. They are great and can help add that extra little touch to a dressy outfit as well as helping pull together a casual lunch outfit.
They come in a variety of different colors, as well as gold and silver framing. I personally prefer the gold framing with the different colors. One of my favorite colors is the turquoise thin bracelet shown below.

With this size bracelet of any sorts if you want to pair it with other bracelets, like I mentioned previously I think it goes better with thinner bracelets. Hermes has a bunch of other bracelets, some on the simpler side and some that have cute patterns. What is great about all of the bracelets they have is they all come in different color combos. They are all priced in the $300 and $400 range.

All of these bracelets would be great paired together, and are such classic and statement pieces that your could wear any one of these individually. While they are on the expensive side, they are pieces of jewelry that you collect and are added to your permanent jewelry collection. They are very classic and timeless pieces. I think that is a very important thing to look for when buying nice pieces of jewelry. You want to look for pieces that will withstand the test of time, and that you will get your use out of, although it is fun to experiment. I am a big fan of costume jewelry myself. A lot of high end designers offer costume jewelry pieces. I think that it is good to play around with different styles and pieces of jewelry. I think if you are unsure if you want to invest in more expensive pieces, look for a cheaper option and see if you find yourself gravitating towards it and getting your use out of it, and if you find that you incorporate it into your style it might be worth your money to invest in a show stopping-high quality piece of jewelry!
