Blair Waldorf--Winter Coats

So today to celebrate Halloween I channeled my inner Blair Waldorf. I had a big bow headband paired with tights and heels. A) the heels I was wearing I loved--they were bright blueish-purpleish B) Within the first minute my feet were dying. For the past year or so I have worn quite sensible flat shoes, so this was a different experience for my feet. I was also noticing that the lower the heel, and less of a direct slant the more pressure there is put on the balm of your foot. So if you have sensitive feet like mine, I would recommend heels that have more of a slant. Then again it is partial to what fits best for you, and I would definitely recommend putting the shoes you are going to wear out, and put them on and walk around for a little bit before you leave, so you can decide if the pain is bearable or if you should resort to different shoes!
Anyways in keeping to the Blair Waldorf theme of the day I thought I would post this winter jacket (because it has become absolutely freezing outside, and the heaters don't seem to be working) that really stood out from gossip girl for me. I have been looking for one, just like this forever, or even for the name of the style and have had no luck. So if anyways does find out any info about this jacket please let me know!!
So here is the jacket. It is a winter jacket without sleeves, instead with slits to insert your arms. What I particularly love about this jacket apart form that it is unique and not something everyone has, is the fact that a) you get to wear full length gloves and b) the addition of the gloves gives your own spin on the outfit, and you can change it up accordingly to the rest of your outfit.
That is all for my Blair Waldorf inspired day. On one last note there is another jacket that I absolutely love. It is another statement piece jacket like the above. It was the tweed jacket that was in the movie Confessions of A Shopoholic.
Reasons why I love this jacket, is because obviously the tweed is the main pattern of the jacket, but I particularly love the big stitching. I also love how it is being worn with color, and that even when not buttoned it looks amazing. This book reminds me of the green tweed jacket featured in F.R.I.E.N.D.S. The episode when they are having a party for Rachel, and Phoebe comes back after the party looking for one of her rat babies. It is similar to this jacket, in the sense that it is tweed. However the pattern may have more of an plaid influence.
As I am going through these jackets I might as well add a classic.

Ahhh the classic Burberry trenchcoat. It is not a classic for no reason, and there isn't much to add. Burberry This link has many other great coats shown. Ones that standout for me especially with the same feel as the previous are:
              ~ Coat 1
              ~ Coat 2
              ~ Coat 3

That is all for now. Bundle up and keep warm!!
